Firestorm was founded in 2004 as a vehicle fire suppression and fire system company, providing installation and servicing for the mining sector. In 2010, the company was awarded government contracts in Western Australia and NSW, accelerating growth and allowing Firestorm to open locations across Australia and in New Zealand. Our clients continue to be confident in the strength of Firestorm’s products and our excellent service, and as a result, additional national agreements have followed across several market segments.
In 2019, Firestorm was acquired by with United Safety (USSC), a US-based company providing safety and protection equipment across many product and population segments. USSC distributes the Fogmaker system, and also imports the Australian-made Firestorm S.M.A.R.T. Panels. In addition to our similar product sets, USSC and Firestorm are synergetic in our values and commitment to product innovation, reinforcing promise to provide protection and peace of mind.
